Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Peila mobile application and website at peila.se ("Service") operated by Jonas Persson ("we", "us", "our"). By using Peila, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Peila. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Account
You create an account using your email address or a third-party sign-in provider (Google, Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscription & Billing
Peila offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.
- Free tier: Limited to 1 weekly analysis, 3 active goals, and 3 active habits.
- Pro tier: Unlimited analyses, up to 7 goals, 10 habits, AI habit schedule, pattern insights, and calendar sync. Priced at $4.99/month or $34.99/year.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in Peila are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
6. Third-Party Services
Peila integrates with third-party services including Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, and Supabase. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Peila is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Peila. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App. Deletion removes all your data permanently.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
